Northlake

Growing and evolving by the moment, it is an up-and-coming community in the northern Dallas-Fort Worth metro area.

Welcome to Northlake

Suburban-rural hybrid with new residential neighborhoods and panoramic sunset views

Growing and evolving by the moment, Northlake is an up-and-coming community in the northern Dallas-Fort Worth metro area. Nearly doubling in population over the last decade, this town is now home to 2,726 residents. Throughout this Denton County locale, discover scenic country roads and gorgeous, brand-new subdivisions that feature upscale homes. For added convenience, Interstate 35W cuts through the center of town. This makes it far easier to reach Fort Worth, which is located about 27 miles south.

With most of the “oldest” homes having been built in the mid-2010s, this is an outstanding place to relocate if you’re in search of a brand new property. Currently, there are quite a few builders constructing new homes with high-end designs and features. Over time, the area is likely to continue growing and expanding, with new housing developments being added every few years. Also, since Northlake is on the northern outskirts of Dallas-Fort Worth, your budget will stretch much further here than it will closer to each city.

Newly home to residential neighborhoods, the shopping and dining scene around Northlake is just beginning to build. However, at the southern edge of town, there is an emerging selection of establishments. Just off Interstate 35W, spend the morning or afternoon shopping at the Tanger Outlets Fort Worth. At this beloved outlet mall, shop retailers such as Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store, Vineyard Vines Outlet, Columbia Factory Store, Michael Kors Outlet, and Rack Room Shoes. Closer to residential areas, try the latest dishes at popular restaurants such as Lonesome Spur Cafe & Catering, Margarita's Mexican Restaurant, and Bella Italia Bistro.

Although the entertainment and leisure scene is still building in Northlake, residents enjoy their free time minutes from town at a variety of fun spots. Avid golfers are pleased to live near several courses and clubs, including Tour 18 Dallas, Denton Country Club, and The Golf Club at Champions Circle. Racing fans are enthusiastic to learn that, when residing in Northlake, they are just minutes away from the legendary Texas Motor Speedway. Near Northlake, also be sure to plan visits to Trophy Club Park, Knob Hills Trail Head, DFW Adventure Park (paintball venue), and Grapevine Lake.
